Wiseco/P5 Forged Pistons

Looking to build a strong short motor? Then you need the best pistons. Wiseco are World renowned for their high strength forged pistons which have been machined to our specifications. We specified a compression ratio of 8.8:1 for a couple of reasons. It gives a little more protection against detonation as you're probably looking for over 250bhp and it allows some material to be safely removed from the block or head if needs be.

Forged pistons can be a little noisier than stock, but we've reduced the skirt length to avoid this. Skirts can also be coated to help with the run-in procedure at extra cost. The piston features a fully strutted design for maximum strength, along with a 'Turbo Duty' 4mm straight walled fully floating wrist pin and ring set.

Carrillo H-Beam Rods

There's no point in skipping on details if you need strength. The Carrillo H-Beam rods are one of the finest and strongest chromoly connecting rods available. 20% stronger than their A-Beam design, these are the choice for a serious built engine and just under 100g lighter than stock. Fully compatible with our Wiseco pistons.
