Zeitronix Wideband EGO Controller

If you're serious about tuning your own car, then you need something far more accurate than the standard Narrowband (NB) Lambda sensors. NB sensors only operate within a small range and are really only accurate around stoichiometric (Lambda 1.00), which is where a Wideband (WB) Lambda sensor and controller comes in. There are many different options available when it comes to choosing a WB Controller, that it can become confusing. We highly recommend the Zeitronix Zt-2 Kit due to it's affordable price and amazing functionality - it's the one we use to tune our customers' cars. The controller itself is a compact box that can be attached anywhere, like on top of the ECU, being the size of a 1" thick business card. The Zt-2 is not just a WB Controller though and for those without standalone ECUs it's functionality is a powerful tool. Not only does it log Lambda and AFR through the Windows software, there are a number of inputs that can aid tuning such as RPM, Throttle Position, Manifold Pressure, Exhaust Gas Temperature and a User Defined Input. All of these functions can be displayed as numbers or graphed and saved for future analysis.

For those wanting constant information, the Zeitronix LCD Display can be bought as part of the kit, or added later. Featuring a compact 120x50x23mm aluminium display in either silver or black surround, the high contrast white LCD digits on black background are easily read even in bright sunshine. A push button on the right side of the display toggles through the menu. The installation cable is small, thin and black for a discreet installation.
